Joshua is back in soccer again this season...and loves it.
I love watching him play...He really works hard and is sooo focused!
Funny the things kids do...
I had my post pardom appt and I had to take Joshua with me because he was feeling a little sick that day (so he didn't go to school). The silly boy climbed right up on the table and put his legs up....I swear he was never with me at an appt...so I have no clue what lead him to do this but I thought it was hilarous, so I snapped a pic. This is def a future blackmail shot...haha
The boys love their little sister. Christian and Joshua are always asking to hold her. Joshua is so cute when talking to his sister, he explains everything to her and shows her lots of stuff. He is always pointing things out around the house and telling her what it is :) I just love watching them with her....I've been waiting for so long to see it!
This was my first full week of being at home with Grace all alone. The boys have been in school all week so me and Grace have had some special bonding time :) She is doing so well...I couldn't ask for an easier baby. Here are some pics from the week. 
This is a pic of Grace's first outing. We had to go to Target to get the boys some schools supplies, she did really well. One of my friends made me this sling and we LOVE it. Grace just lays in it and looks around, it really is the easiest way to carry her around :)
First day of school! My babies are in 3rd grade and K5! They are kinda excited to be back in school...mostly just so they can see their friends again :) They both have awesome teachers, so this year will go great Im sure :)
4 days old! Today we took our first bath. She didn't love it, but she didn't hate it either. She kinda fussed and cried, and then she would be fine. Silly girl. The boys LOVED watching...I think they were trying to figure out why they couldn't take a bath in the sink...haha.
Christian had fun with the camera after the bath..so here are some pics he took. I LOVE the one he took of the back of her head...it shows ALL her HAIR! ( I soooo hope she keeps it!!)
Our friends (The Dillards) came over to our house while we were in the hospital and decorated our front porch to welcome us home from the hospital! What such sweet friends we have!!!
Here we are all ready to leave the hospital. We were discharged on August 11, 2010. Grace wore the same outfit home that I did in 1979....it was still beautiful, and even more beautiful on this beautiful little girl :)
Monday, August 9, 2010, the date of my daughter's arrival.
So, here is the story.
Monday morning I woke up as Ryan's alarm was going off for him to get up and get ready for work. (around 5:15 am)
My stomach was cramping, and I knew it was kinda weird, but I naturally just thought I had to use the bathroom, or maybe heartburn was coming, or something. So..I tried it all, bathroom, tossing in turning in bed, everything, and the cramping didn't go away. I started getting concerned as the cramping got worse and worse. It wasn't painful, just constantly irritating. I texted Ryan and told him not to plan anything for the morning, explained how I felt and just kinda put him on alarm. I still layed in bed, trying different positions to see if things got better, but they didn't. I then deceieded I would call my Mom to fill her in on how I was feeling around 7:00. She said she would get dressed and call Mimow to fill her in as well.
By 7:30 Ryan was at home and we had decieded it was time to go the hospital. The cramping was constant and when I would get out of bed to walk around, it got worse. My Mom came over around 8:00 and took the boys to my grandmother's house so my Grandpa could watch them.
Funny thing...When I walked into Christian's room that morning to tell him I was going to go to the hospital, He said, Mom...My tummy hurts. I said..Me too! Maybe he was having sympathy pains for me :)
I told him I was going to go to the hospital, and he said "Why?"
I really didn't go into much detail with him, I just told him we might have a baby today :)
So..My mom loaded up the boys and Ryan and I headed on into the hospital. When we arrived, we checked in and got hooked up to the monitors. I WAS for sure having contractions about every 5 minutes, they just were not lasting for long at all. My contractions speed up at times to every 2-3 minutes. I was only dialted to a 2 upon checking in. So..they decieded to watch me for a while to see if I progressed. The Dct. came in around 10:30 and I was a 3 and my contractions had not stopped and I was still kind of in pain, so they decieded to admit me...boy were we happy!
After the IV was started and all the paperwork, they moved me to my room. I progressed all by myself to a 5 dialated and they then started my on pitocin to help me out a little. I recieved an epidural that was AMAZING. The labor was amazing and I really never felt any pain, just pressure at times... :)
Grace arrived in our arms at 7:37 pm that night...she was perfect. I will never forget that moment....Thank the Lord for such a great Labor and Delivery, and for such an amazing family!! We are so blessed.
Last night was our first junk food Family Fun night! We watched Open Season 2 and the menu consisted of: Hogie Sandwiches, chips, popcorn, pizza rolls, Oreo cookies, ice cream, and root beer (which we ended up doing root beer floats)
We all had a blast! We are really trying to make this last week of summer fun for the boys!
Christian already asked this morning when our next Family Fun night would be...he said I should pick and date and put it on the calendar :) - What a silly boy...
After my doctor's appt on Wed, me and the kids meet up with some friends for pizza, cupcakes (at Bliss, yummo) and a movie! We went to see Cats and Dogs...which the kids loved, but I really didn't. :)
It was nice to spoil them a little with summer coming to an end...I will miss my babies not being at home, I love them being here! Summer has gone by wayyyy to quickly!
Thank the Lord for a patient husband...I bet his little ears are burning having to listen to my whine day after day...Hopefully he doesn't think it's going to get any better after Grace is here. THEN he has two females to listen to!! haha

The boys start school again on the 16th! Are they excited? NO.
We have everything bought for school, supplies, clothes, all of it. Yeah! Christian will be in 3rd grade this year (which is hard to believe) and Joshua will start K5 :) Joshua is already saying that he doesn't want to go to school because he doesn't like math...haha.
(Mom..looks like your not going to pull any of us over to the dark side..haha)
And as far as our daughter....she already is not listening to her parents. My last appt was Wednesday (2 days ago) and I am still sitting at a 2. I wake up everyday going, "Is it going to be today?"
Well...Dct says if all else fails, she will induce on the 16th, so either way, not to much longer. I like being induced, its all I know. I was induced with both boys. It's schuduled, it's smooth, and everyone is ready...it just works out well for us. However, what a crazy week that will be if we wait it out till then! School starts that day for the boys, and fitting in labor and delivery is kinda of a big day! Yikes! Oh well...it will all be wonderful and we can't wait. Bags packed, in the car, and we are waiting...tick tick tick.
