Mosley 50th Wedding Anniversary

Today is my grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary.

We had a reception for them today - it was beautiful, and they were stunning.

My grandparents are the most amazing people - full of love, compassion for others, and a hearts filled with the desire to serve God. My grandparents are the staple that holds this family together. They are the foundation that we have built our family on - and not only are they family, they are our mentors, the ones we look to for advice, love, nurturing and friendship.

God has blessed my grandparents in so many ways. I know that the past 50 years for them has been amazing, and it is only because they have followed the road that God paved just for them - they seek his will and trust in his word - and God has blessed them richly for their works.

Ladies Night Out

Once a month me and a bunch of my girlfriends do a Ladies Night out. Friday was our night - We went to PF Changs and then went to see "Catch and Release" at the movies.
It was a lot of fun - can't wait till next month!!

Christian-isms

Christian simply amazes me.....

Yesterday we are getting ready to leave the church (I had to work) and he looks up at me and says...

"Hey Mom, The President is George W. Bush. Did you know that Mom? Hey Mom, How do you become President?"
(I'm staning there, kinda floored that he has any interest in that at all, he is 4 right?)

Then as we are almost out the door (going outside) and I told him to hold onto his jacket (carry it) incase it was cold outide - he could then put it on.
He looks up at me and says......

"Hey Mom, Why didn't you just watch the weather channel? Then you would know if it was going to be cold outside or not!"

Only 6 more days......

Only 6 more days till my baby boy turns 2. How has it gone by so fast?

We have done soooo much in the last 2 years - more than most people do in 5!

How can it be that when Christian was this exact age, I was already pregnant with Joshua? (wow....how could I have been so ready?)

Going from 1 to 2 is way easier than ever even thinking of going from 2 to 3.

The thought of that just scares the dickens out of me!

And part of me longs for another baby boy (sorry Mom :). But, as we all know, I can't choose the sex, only God can give us what we need.

I am so confused on whether to have another baby. (not that I want to right now...or even thinking about it soon). My life is just perfect right now. 2 beautiful, healthy boys. We have a comfortable life, and we are very happy.

Can I do 3? That is going to be just a constant prayer - a question needing an answer - can we, should we, will we, or just no, are we done?

I am still young (27), it's okay for this to be a question for years to come......I realize that. Help me, pray that the answer be revealed. (it doen't have to be anwered soon.....cause I'm sure not ready :)

After School Fun

The weather for the last two days has just been awesome! Today the temp got into the low 70's! After I picked up Christian from school today we met one of our good friends (The Tobkins). We played at the park and then went to the library for storytime/crafts. Here are some pics of our fun.

Easy like Sunday morning.......

Today was a pretty nice day. (very relaxing for the most part).

The boys spent the night with Mom last night and they just met us at church so it was pretty easy just to get myself dressed/fed for church. (although I will still late....I just can't get the "on-time" thing down)

Then we came home and I went straight into nap-time (after-all, Didn't pastor preach from the pullpit about Sunday naps...hehe?)

I woke up around 3:30 and we headed out for a little pizza.

After pizza I had to go to work and just got home around 9:00.

The kids fell asleep very easily tonight - I sure hope they sleep in, they haven't been lately.

My Special Valentines

This was probably the most Romantic Valentines' Day EVER for me.

I worked last night (Valentine's Night) and took the kids with me.
Ryan stayed at home - and boy was he busy.
He called me at work and said to make sure that they kids were feed and completly ready for bed when we got home. (so I did) When I got home, I stuck them in bed and came out into the living room. Ryan came out of the bedroom completly dressed in his best clothes. (button down dress shirt - the whole thing)
He walked me into the dining room - turned off the lights - and this is what I saw! He had prepared a while meal for me - ROSES, Candlelight - soft music - even a menu!
He fixed steak smothered with green peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes (so wondeful), stuffed crab and mashed potatoes.
He even pulled out my chair for me and gave me the menu - isn't that sweet!
I was so impressed - I sorta can't belive he grilled in 17 degrees weather - now...that's love :)

I enjoyed my night at La Casa Ryno very much - I will always remember it.

Christian's Valentine's Party

Christian had a great party at school yesterday. I left Joshy with Ryan so I could concentrate just on Christian. There were sooo many cute boxes (that they kids/parents had made). The kids dropped the Valentine's cards into eachothers boxes and then ate the party food (cookies/candy/ect).

Christian ended up with TOOO much candy - see last pic for his big loot!

Joshua's Valentine's Party

Joshua had a really great time at the MOMS Club Valentine's Party. Each kid made a little sack for the Valentine's card exchange. There were lots of treats for the kids to eat.....Joshua especially liked all the cookies!

I let Joshua drop all of his cards into each bag - he thought that was pretty fun.

I figured that he would really like looking at all the cards once we got home - but he couldn't care less about them - he just wants the candy :)

A day with Mimow and Papoo

Today me and the kiddos went over to my Grandparents house. (Mimow and Papoo)

We ate lunch and played.....the kids and I had so much fun.

Heels....a new form of exercise??

So tell me.....does wearing heels for 13 hrs in one day qualify for working out....because my legs are cramping up - help...I can't walk!! I swear it feels like I did some new exercise class or something!!

Today I worked at the church for 13 hrs. Long story, lots to do.

Thursday Playdate

Yesterday I met 2 of my best buddies - Amelia and Denise at Barnes and Noble. The kids played and we just sat and talked - it was nice.

Sale of the Century!!

Today I had a few appt/errands before going to work at the church and I ended up with some extra time on my hands.

I was just across the interstate from the mall, so I thought I would go over right quick.

Man....I am glad I did.

We found soooo many sales.

JCPenney's is having an AWESOME sale.....you need to get off the computer right now, and GO!

(Just one of my finds) - I bought a $60 jacket (blazer like thing) for only $4.00!

I was wanting to find the boys some red shirts for Valentine's day. Christian has to wear solid colored polo type shirts to school - I could NOT find a solid red one for anything. I will keep looking for one.

I did however find Joshua the cutest shirt at the Children's Place (pictured). One of my friends' little boy has the same shirt....it's just soooo cute. I will take a pic of them dressed in red next Wednesday. We have lots of party plans on that day!

Snack from Mommy

Some of my fondest memories from elementary school are getting home to Mom and seeing that she had prepared us some freshly baked cookies for an after school treat.

For some reason I have always remembered that. Maybe because it meant alot to me that she had gone out of her way that day just for us, or maybe it's just because I love those great SNICKERDOODLES sooo much!

(a bit of both I think)

Well...I haven't got to the level of Motherhood where you can actaully take kids to school....do everything else, and STILL have homeade cookies from the oven.

(Don't know if I'll ever be there :)

So...the best I have to offer are fruit snacks and Little Debbie snack cakes. :)

But, Thankfully, my kids don't know any better :)

Crafts with Christian

Christian brought home a paper from school today that said he would need to decorate a box for next weeks Valentine's party. Being the way I am, I just had to think of something cool for him to do.

So here is what we came up with.

Chamber Banquet 2007

Tonight Ryan and I went to the yearly Springdale Chamber of Commerce Banquet. Although it is kinda boring, it is nice to get all dressed up and eat with a bunch of people.

There were probably around 1000 people there and we heard alot of interesting speakers. We got to hear alot about Springdale's new upcoming Professional AA Baseball team that will start in 2008. - It sounds really cool, we can't wait.

Then there was dinner - very pretty, but not that great in taste.

At $40.00 a plate you would think that the food would be excellent........sure glad Ryan's work pays for us to go!!

It's done!!

Today my friend Amelia (pictures on far left) came over and we did something very Exciting!

We booked our cruise!

Ryan and I got our room in the same location as we did last year (same floor and location)

Amelia and Spencer got a room just a few door down from us.

We are all VERY excited!! We leave June 15th for Miami and sail out on June 16th.

(Denise we LOVE YOU....we wish you could come!!)

Now we just have lots of shopping, tanning and working out to do!!

Swimsuits SCARE me!! I believe I am just like most animals - but instead of getting a winter coat - I get winter skin - extra skin that is...hehe.

I think it is all that potato soup :)

Super Bowl Party

Tonight we went over to one of my friends house for a Super Bowl Party.

Congrats to the Colts - (Conner, I know you are sooooooo excited!! We could all hear you yelling. And the fact that P. Manning got MVP sealed the deal for you I'm sure.)

We had a really good time - we ate too much junk food - but doesn't that go with the whole Super Bowl spirit?

The kids had a blast - there were lots of kids, so the boys stayed entertained the whole time. Joshy even found him a little sweetie :) (see pic)
