4 years old tomorrow, I just can't believe it. I am sitting here at 11:28pm the night before his birthday trying to figure out a way to stop the growing process...or atleast to slow it down a bit. Exactly 4 years ago this very minute, I was in the hospital praying for a baby to hurry and come, and at 8:17 am August 1st 2002, Christian Malachi arrived. The whole birthing experience makes me want to have 15 kids......it is the most amazing process.
The last 4 years have been amazing. This kid has showm ME so much and made me feel LOVE in a whole new way. I only hope I can remember the next 20 years of his life the way I remember the last 4 years of his life. It has gone by in an instant, but I remember every second of it. Every smile, every tear, every laugh....it's been the most amazing ride.
Christian is emabarking upon a whole new world this fall....one without me (starting school August 22) 3 Day Pre-K this fall. It's hard for me to let go of this little man...but I know it has to happen...and I can't make him stay home forever... 
Hours without his Mommy??!!!! The more I think about it...the more I get sick...will he eat his food at lunch? Will the teacher love on him when he gets hurt? Will the kids pick on him if he says something goofy? I am scared to death (I'll be the mother standing in the window :) But...my smart, outgoing little Christian will do fine...he is so brave, hopefully enough for the both of us.
I thank God for the last 4 years. Christian is the most amazing son, brother, grandson and nephew that anyone could ask for. Christian is so excited about turning 4. We have a big party planned with all his favorite friends. I will have TONS of pics to post......pray that I can keep it together...maybe I won't break down in front of everyone :)
