Summer has been lots of fun already!
We've been to a carnival, a drive-in movie and we bought a slip-n-slide for the summer! This summer is going to be fun! We have lots of plans ahead!
Thursday was Christian's last day of 1st grade! Sniff sniff.
Thursday was also the sword drills. (which is when the teacher calls out a book of the bible and a chapter/verse and whoever finds it first gets a point)
Anyways...Christian did really well...we were very proud. They all recieved a metal, he REALLY loved that!!
I can't believe my little Christian is going into the 2nd grade!!!
Today was Christian's first official day out of school!
YEAH SUMMER!
So, we met up with some friends at McDonald's and then the park!
We had a blast!
Then tonight we took the kiddos to the drive in in Fayetteville. We saw the new Disney movie "UP". It was really cute :)
Great start to a Great Summer!!
It has rained here for like 2 weeks...yuk.
Yesterday we actually got a brief break from the rain, so Ryan wanted to take the boys to play baseball at the park.

I had a wonderful Mothers Day yesterday.
My little Munchkins woke me up telling me "Happy Mothers Day"
The kids (witht the help of my wonderful hubby) gave me great gifts and then we were off to chuch.
After church we went to Maria's (one of our favorite Mexican restaurants) for lunch. And suprise...Maria's let all Mothers eat for FREE!
My Mom and grandmother and aunt were all there...so I enjoyed spending Mother's day with them too. :)
Here are some reasons I love being a Mom: (in no order)
1. Kids give unconditional love...I love being loved by these little men..nothing feels better.
2. I love that God has given these little men to me and has entrusted me with raising them up.
3. I love watching them grow in knowledge and in age.
4. I love how FUN they make my life. My life would be so boring without them!
5. I love watching their expressions...these kids can make me laugh and cry with just one facial expression.
6. I love watching how much the boys are the same, and how much they are different!
7. I love watching them become Men. And I LOVE watching them grow in the Lord.
8. I love that GOD gave me these boys.....
9. I love knowing that these little men grew in my tummy :)
10. I love looking at these men, and seeing myself and Ryan, and My Mom and Ryan's Dad.
I love being a Mother....I am so blessed that God chose me to help bring leaders up for his kingdom.
Christian's school had an art exibite with all the student's handmade art. This is what my little man made..and got a 2nd place ribbon :)
Christians first grade class went on a field trip on Friday.
