Who...... Me??

I am soo excited! Today I am having my house cleaned by a professional company here in NWA!
They are going to do all the crummy stuff that I hate doing - like : baseboards, celing fans, cleaning the oven - and all kinds of other great stuff like: vacuuming, mopping - cleaning showers and bath tubs, cleaning windows, and EVEN making all my beds!!
I totally feel like a queen - and after all the hard work of moving - I needed some Queen Time :)
If anyone needs a referral - I've got a great company to refer if you want one!!

Denise - Can I borrow one of Celia's (or yours..haha) crowns - I think I will wear it tonight just to make the day complete...haha!! - Just kidding - I'm not going to do that - but I am going to have some girl time tonight!! I am going to the monthly scrap night at the church tonight. I got 3 full layouts done last month - and I hope I can get that many done tonight!! It is soo fun.
I will try to scan in some layouts later......

The Painting is Done.....atleast in one room!

The kitchen is finally done (and the curtains up on one of the windows - we were unhappy that people could see in - we have to go buy more for the other window)

Anyways...we are sooooo glad to be done - I think we will wait a while to paint anything else for now!!

Project of the week

Painting is the project for the week - WOW - I didn't know that painting walls was such a time consuming project!! I am currently working on the kitchen and it is taking forever!!

I picked a BEAUTIFUL color from the Martha Stewart Collection at Lowe's. It is called Barn Yard Door Red - so---my walls are red :) I have always wanted a red room in my house :)

I will take pics when I am all done - hopefully I can have it done by the end of the week.

A NEW ADDITION TO THE BURT FAMILY

Don't get too excited - there is no baby coming - sorry Mom and Mimow - your dreams are still crushed....haha.

We got a DOG yesterday!! The boys have really been wanting one - and they finally got my wish. I personally could have gone without - but being the great mom I am (haha) I got one for them. It really was the perfect deal. Our new dog is from the Johnson Family at church (Jeniffer Johnson). They were looking to get rid of the dog (they didn't have enough time for him). His name is Sampson - but we are calling him Sam or Sammy. He is a 4 year old Black Cocker Spaniel. - Full Blooded and up-to-date on all shots/vacc./ect. He is really a sweet dog - he is also house trained and trained not to beg/eat people food or to get up on furniture.....woohoo!!

A new Boo-Boo

Moving is stressful......adding anything on top of it, is crazy.
I have been such a maniac the last couple of days....and I don't even have the strength to type up the whole story - to get you to the point.

But here is the point - newly moved in - and already made a trip to the ER. (they are sooo going to know us by name if we don't stop going)
Joshy's head ended up in the ceiling fan (really long story) and now he has a beautful black eye and lovely blue stitches.......Really, my week has been amazing :)

But...here is one good thing - I got a new fridge:) - (Had to have something positive in this post!!)
All my appliances are black - and my white fridge (even though it was only 3 years old) HAD to go. - I just want things to look good ---isn't that okay?
So - I have a wonderful fridge now - Black side by side - ice/water in door - filtration system - it's pretty awesome ....woohoo.


I will try to get some pic posted soon - I have honestly been running around like a crazy lady the last few days - Ryan told me today that I should just lay down - he can totally read the stress/tiredness off my face. I just want things DONE!! NOW - isn't that wishfull thinking ...haha - it may be months before it's done..... :)

What a mess!

Our house is one BIG disaster right now....boxes everwhere......stuff everwhere.

The big move starts this Friday.....hopefully we will have it all done by Sunday :)

1st Football game of the Year

We went to Shiloh's 1st football game on Friday night. It was me and the boys & Mom and Pat. (Ryan is out of town) The boys had a great time - but Joshy kept me busy going to the potty a million times (or atleast it seemed like it)

The boys are dying to go to a Razorback game (or as they call it....A PIG SOOOIIEEEE game :)

We will try to take them this year if we can get a deal on some tickets :)

Getting Cowboyd' Up

Busy Busy Busy does not even cover it. I really do consider myself AHEAD of the game as far as packing goes.

I probably have half of the house packed up, and we still have 13 days till the big move!

I am keeping the same theme for the boys room, which is COWBOYS. - but I really wanted some new things - which is really hard to find!!

I have made a few things (which I will post pics of) and I just bought some things off of e-bay.....(view the attached pic). This little things were ONLY $5.00 each, and that is with personalization and everything!!

If anyone comes across some really cute cowboy deco, please let me know (ofcourse it has to be reasonably priced!) Right now I am really looking for some cute decorative pillows for their beds....I need 2, one for each bed. I am thinking of just making some, but time is really kind of tight around here, so I don't know.
