We are back!

We are back, and I am sorta glad. We had a great time, but traveling with two kids, especially with one who likes to take naps at certain times of the day, is not always real easy.

We left Thursday and started the fun off with a pumpkin carving party. Christian enjoyed seeing all the different carved pumpkins.
Friday the kids and I went shopping at all the different outlet malls while Ryan played golf. Then later that night we all went to the Dixie Stampede. If you have never been...you should go. There are several across the states. I know there is one in Myrtle Beach, SC. It is tons of fun and the kids really enjoyed the show. This is the second time we have been, but it was just as good as the first time.
Saturday Joshua and I went shopping again and and then went to a Halloween Party later that night.
We traveled back home Sunday after we ate at Applebee's, which was requested by my 3 year old son!!! He loves it! :)
We had a blast and we racked in some GREAT deals at the outlet malls.

We are officially on vacation....and you ask, why am I on the computer? Well, Christian and Ryan went out for a little while, while Joshua is taking is morning nap. We are in Branson, MO, having a blast.

I will post pics and the whole story when we get back home!!!

Our Halloween Party

Tonight we had some friends over for a Fall/Halloween Party. Everyone dressed up in costume. It was a great time.

Ride em' Cowboy

Today the Mom's Club went horse back riding. Christian LOVES horses...so this was like a dream come true to him.
Christian wore his cowboy boots and hat, he makes a really cute cowboy.

The white horse that Christian rode was sooo big. I would have never got on it myself, but he was not scared at all. I guess all the practice on his stick horse paid off.

Tonight I cooked some pork chops, but tonight we ate cereal!
I should have NOT tried this new pork chop recipe...it was soo terrible. It was pork chops baked with scalloped potatoes....yuk. The two do not mix well.

Anyways, today we went out looking for me a halloween costume. I am hosting a party Saturday night here at the house, so I was trying to find a costume. Don't laugh at me, but I am going to be Laura Ingals. :) He He...you know, from Little House on the Praire. I will definelty be the only one of those!!! Ryan is dressing up in a kilt (sp?) I will defiently post pictures!

A long weekend :)

Ryan has a long weekend :) He took a day off yesterday (for our anniversary) and we still have today and tomorrow...yeah! Today we took the kids to Ci-Ci's for Pizza and to the Fall Festival. I have posted some pics below.

5 Years....and Counting!

Today is our 5 year anniversary. It has both flown by and went by slowly. Today we are going to drop the kids off at my moms and spend the day with eachother. We are both looking foward to it!

HELP! I am a Cabbie and my minivan isn't even YELLOW!!

Do you ever feel this way? I do...I know I have addressed this before, but it is on my mind.
Funny how you will be thinking of something and then you will see just what you were thinking in print somewhere! I am reading a great book by Dr. Kevin Leman entitled "Making Children Mind without Losing Yours". Not that my kids are totally out of control or anything, it just never hurts to get new ideas...cause I need some! Anyways, he says he has wrote a book entitled "Help I am a Cabbie and my minivan isn't even Yellow!" This totally sounds like a book I need to read!

Tomorrow we have to go pick out a pumpkin, the kids are painting pumpkins Friday....I can't wait. I will post pics of that Friday. Friday is also our anniversary. 5 Years!! :) Yipee! Mom is keeping the kids and we are going out...I can't wait.

It's Official....He's a Cruiser!!

It's official...Joshua has started to move! He is cruising. He can get what he wants (if it isn't too far away) I am in trouble now!! Pictures are posted above.

Smily Sunday

Today we went over to my grandmothers to eat lunch after church. After lunch, Christian took my camera around and took some goofy pictures of everyone. The pictures are posted above.

Super Saturday

Today was an excellent day for Ryan and I. Today we bought a new truck! We got a Toyota Tundra...and we love it. Although..Ryan is not letting me drive it!!! :( (not yet anyways)
Ryan was really needing to get something else. The Explorer had just about had it. Even though it was sorta sad to see it go, it was an exciting time to. We took both boys home from the hospital in the Explorer. And the Explorer was the first car Ryan and I bought.
We will make new memories in this truck I am sure.

My husband has been locked up...for GOOD!

Today Ryan was arrested and put behind bars for GOOD!
He was arrested around 9:00 am this morning (handcuffs and all) and put in the back of the police car. Okay...before you all freak....he was raising money for the MDA. The MDA does a "lockup fundraiser" every year. People are "arrested" and sent to jail until they raise enough "bail money" (donations) to get out. Today Ryan raised $500 for the MDA....yeah!
Below is a picture of him getting arrested! They came to his work and took him in front of everyone! I am sure some of the neighboring stores really wondered what was going on!
