Chick-fil-a Tuesday!!

Chick-fil-a has kids night every Tuesday, Christian loves it. They have games set up and Christian really loves the playland too. Tonight we are taking him to eat there then we are going to church to see Team Impact. Team Impact is a group of guys that go around winning people over to Christ. They put on an amazing show, they lift things, smash things, chop blocks, all kinds of things. Their message is positive and kids and teenagers love it. We thought Christian would enjoy seeing all the action.

We are leaving Joshua at "Mimows" because he has been sick for the last several days. I took him to see the Pede today and all the build up in his head has caused him to get an ear infection...so we are dealing with double trouble now!

PJ Party

Today was a pretty easy day. We went to the library this morning, did a little shopping and then went to visit my grandparents. After dinner tonight I dressed the kids in the cutest little PJ's. My mom bought them matching PJ's and I just had to take some pics of them.

A Sickly Sunday

The family is sick. Christian and Joshua have some kind of yucky cold and Ryan has been feeling horrible since yesterday. But thank God I feel well.....but it will probably hit me later.
So today we are just taking it easy.

I wanted to post some pics of the other day. Last Thursday we went to the skating rink and Christian skated for the first time. He tried both skates first, but that did not work. So he figured he could skate better with one skate....so that's what he did. Later on he just took off the skates and danced around to the music...it was alot of fun.

Slacker....

I have been a blogger slacker this last week. We have been doing lots of things, but I haven't been spending a lot of time on the computer. (which sometimes is good)
Anyways, tomorrow is a big picture day. We are going to ride the Arkansas/Missouri Railroad!
We are traveling from Sprindale to Van Buren, we have a 3 hr. layover in Van Buren for shopping and eating lunch, then we travel back to Springdale. We are leaving at 8:00 am and should return back to Springdale at around 6:30pm. Christian is sooo excited. It is my first time to ride a "Real" train too! I will post pics tomorrow or Sunday.

Single White Female in Arkansas

I feel like a personal ad this week. Single. Desperate for someone to come home to.
The kids and I really miss Ryan. Christian is really starting to miss him too. Ryan's Explorer is here since he flew to Washington and Christian always thinks he is back because his car his here.
He will be home Saturday, so hopefully the next few days will go by fast.
Today we stayed in for most of the day. I got some housework done and then we went and rented some movies.
Tomorrow I think we are going to go out too....it just seems to make the day go by a little faster.
The weather has been awesome here lately so maybe we can go outside and play. If we do I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Busy, busy, busy

This week we are trying to stay pretty busy since Ryan is in Washington for the week. I am trying to get this week over with as soon as possible. Even though I am used to be home alone all day long with the kids, the nights are very long when you are alone.
Yesterday we had a park day with some other mom's from the Mom's Club and then I went shopping with a friend.
Today I had bible study this morning at church and then we came home for a little bit. Tonight we went to Chick-fil-a for supper. Tuesday's is Kids night and the theme was "Western Night". Christian got all dressed up in his cowboy gear and brought his horse, "Trigger". We had a lot of fun.
I put the kids in bed early tonight so I could get a few things accomplished. It is nice to have a few hours alone :)

Christian always has looked JUST like me, but Joshua looks JUST LIKE Ryan. I will have to scan in a pic of Ryan when he was a baby. It really is amazing how he looks like Ryan did. I guess we each have our own little twin :)

Man....we have had alot of good things happen to us lately. We have won so many things in the last month it is really hard to believe!

Ryan won a week's worth of free advertising in the paper (which he will use for work)

Ummm.....if we don't do anything else...we will get fat from all the food we have won :) Ha!

A great Labor Day weekend

We had a blast on our Labor Day weekend!
We went to Tulsa, OK for the weekend and just let the kids have fun. (we had fun too)
Christian played putt-putt for the first time at the Celebration Station. He was pretty good at it, but lost interest in it before we were through with all 18 holes. :)
We also visited the Tulsa Zoo. Christian was soo excited and we all had a blast.
