Man...this is fun, and then not fun. Make sense? I guess I didn't realize how much time this would actually take. It will all be worth it when we see him up on stage next Sunday night.

All day yesterday and now today, we are working on Christian's cardboard car for his musical at church. Every kid has to have a car that they can wear. I have really stressed over this...but I am excited now that we are actually doing it.

Today was Christian's interview at Shiloh. It was a piece of cake. I really didn't know what to expect, but thank God it was nice and simple.
Christian totally wanted to start school today. He was very upset that we were not going to leave him there. He told me " Mom, I want you to go home and leave me here." (isn't that sad...he's totally grown up!)
After Shiloh we ate dinner at Ci-Ci's. I posted pics below of the "special item" we brought home.

Tonight we went to Ci-Ci's for dinner and the "balloon lady" was there. Christian just had to have a balloon, so this is they one she made for him. ( a horsy hat)

And today's toy of choice.....spoons and a paper plate. Haven't got any? Run out and get some! They are very popular with the kiddos!

Today we went over to my grandparents house for lunch. I took my camera but the kiddos would never stop moving for a quick pic.
Tomorrow is Christian's interview at Shiloh. I am interested to see how that will go. I will post tomorrow to fill you in.
Today we started off with our monthly MOMS Club Meeting. After that we came home for Joshy's nap. Mimow and Papow came over for a little while to visit and to bring us some Broccoli, Rice and Cheese Casserole....yummy! (Thanks Mimow) Tonight I went all out for dinner :) We had nachos. Okay, maybe that isn't hard work, but it sure is good!
Joshy did the cutest thing today. While my grandparents were here (they were getting ready to leave) Joshy walked up to my grandpa and started waving and then he said "bye-bye". It was soo cute! We didn't even tell him to say it! He really only says 4 words right now. Momma, Da-Da, Bubba and Bye-Bye.
Posted below is a picture of my grandfather. Both of my kids ADORE him and I am sooo thankful that my children have gotten to know and love my grandparents. My grandparents were a BIG part of my childhood and I am thankful that they are part of my kids lives too!

Today after church we had our monthly potluck with our small group. Posted below are a few pics of the fun the boys had.
After church we came home to put Joshy down for his nap, then the kiddos and I went back to church to keep the nursery tonight.
Tomorrow my big plans are to clean out closets and drawers! (sound fun?) I think it is definitely safe to put all the winter clothes up...so that is the plan for tomorrow. :)
Today we started off with a BIG breakfast. I had told the kids I would fix "big breakfast" last night and that is they first thing Christian came in the bedroom saying this morning..."Momma we gonna have big breakfast?" So...after our breakfast, Ryan and I did some yard work while the kids ran around. Then we ran down to Fayetteville to Barnes and Noble to find a book, but they had to order it. When we got back home my grandparents came over to help us set up the swing set. Then I did some more yard work....needless to say, I think we all are sun burned. :( Christian, as you can tell in the pics below, had a blast outside digging holes :) I will have to fix that later...hehe.
Tomorrow we are having a "pot luck" after church with our small group. I will post pics tomorrow.
Yeah....this was last weekend, but I am just now getting around to posting the pics. Razorfest is a annual event at the UofA in Fayetteville. There are TONS of things to do for the kiddos and a scrimmage game played by the players on next years football team. (Ryan's personal favorite) :)
Ryan got home last night around midnight (he has been in St. Louis for work). The kids and I are really glad he's back. Today Ryan stayed home for half of the day and then went to work around 1:00. The kids and I went to my grandparents house (the kids' great-grandparents) for a while today while Ryan was working. This weekend we plan on doing some yard work and putting the kids swing-set up. And the weather has been soo nice the last couple of days we are planning on BBQ some chicken. Yummy.
I forgot to tell everyone, we decided against putting Christian in MDO this fall and instead to put him in Pre-K. We are putting him in the Pre-K program at Shiloh Christian and we are thrilled. I know he will get a great education there and he will learn it all in a good Christian environment. So...his interview is this Thursday and I am sorta curious how that will go :) I will post about it next week. So...I will totally be in "drilling mode" this week. I want him to be very prepared for testing.
Also...Christian has his first "play or music program" on May 7th. (at church) Christian has been in music class since the beginning of the school year and I am excited about their program! You know I will take TONS of pics! :)

Here are 6 things about me. These are in no order...just random thoughts.
1. I LOVE being a Mom! (who doesn't) I have 2 adorable little boys who like to challenge me everyday! (who says there is no challenge in staying at home?) I really want to have atleast 1 more child...but it will be several years from now. 2 is all I need for now!
2. I hate working. This "thing" about me is no relation to #1. (I do not stay-at-home with my children so that I don't have to work outside of the home.) I have worked at several different places doing several different things before I became a Mom, and hated it everyday. Yes..there were fun times and good friends, but dragging to work everyday...going home and then doing it all over again EVERYDAY really bites! I honestly don't think there is a "perfect" job for me outside of the home! I can remember when I worked for Coca-Cola, I really had an awesome boss, my own huge office, and they pay was great...I was still misserable! I am just cut out to be a stay-at-home mom! And when my kids are grown and gone, I will become a stay-at-home wife :)
3. I spend alot of time on the computer. I am totally obsessed with checking my e-mail. Ummm....yes, I might need help.

4. I hate traveling in a car. I would rather go "no where" than travel in a car. I can remember the many trips to North Carolina when I was a girl. 3 kids in the back seat is like torture! Flying is the only way to go!
5. I love to cook. I like new recipes and hey....I like Martha Stewart! Everyone should totally subscribe to Everyday Foods! (www.everydayfoodmag.com)
6. I love minivans! I love being a minivan Mom! Yes I drive one and my dream car is another one! I really want a Honda Oddessy. Black with silver trip. Gray leather interior with DVD system. Ok...I'm a nerd...but that's okay.

Well...I guess you never know "who" is reading your blog. Saturday at church ( I kept the nursery for the Sat. service) one of my friends Jennifer McNutt (hello Jennifer) told me that she reads my blog everyday. I didn't even know she had the address. She said my mom had given her the address. And I know that Mom has given it to a few more people too! (Hello Mrs. Grogan!) So....thank you to all how read my daily/every other day thoughts. I hope I am not boring you... :)
My life has been in everything except blogging lately. Last night I spent a while in the ER with Joshua. He has been cranky and warm the last couple of days, but yesterday we knew something was wrong. He was just not himself, but we decided to wait out the day to see if it was just teething, ect.
At 7:30 last night he was running 103 temp so I decided to go ahead and take him to the ER (because for some reason the after hours clinic is only open till 1:00 PM on Saturdays...is that after hours??!!) Anyways, the worked him in pretty quickly at the ER. They doctor did chest X-Ray's and just about everything else to him and just couldn't figure out where the fever was coming from. So......they are guessing he has some kind of viral infection. Last night after coming home from the hospital I put him directly in bed....but sleep never happened for me or Joshua. He tossed and turned and ran around 103 all night long. I called the Dct. this morning and we are just waiting it out. We have a prescription and we are alternating tylenol/ibrof. Hopefully tonight will go a little smoother.
Anyways....needless to say Joshua did not make it to church this morning. Nor did he last year...this kid has not made it to a Easter service yet! So...I guess I will let him wear his cute little suit/dress shoes next week. :)
Ryan stayed home with Joshua while Christian and I went to early service.
I have so many pics to post from Easter and Razorfest (Saturday). I will try to post them all tomorrow.

Today we didn't really do that much. We made a trip to Sam's Club and then tonight I went to a friends Mary Kay Party. Big day...huh?
But...it was an awesome day. I totally lived in a scripture verse today. On the way home from Sam's, Christian was singing a song with the radio. It was ( I don't know the name) "I will follow you all of my days......" Anyways....oh..what joy. This scripture verse immediatly entered my head, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
What a delight to hear Christian singing about God..... :)
Tomorrow we are doing an Easter Egg Hunt with the MOMS club...I will post some pics tomorrow.
Today was a pretty simple day. I started tanning today, I am soo white right now! I have to get some color before we go on vacation or I will burn severly! Only 33 days left till our cruise! And only 32 days till we leave. It has gone by really fast. I still worry a little about the kiddos. I have NEVER left for more than 1 night. How will they do for 9 nights? Will Joshua have withdrawals? :)
I feel like Christian will be fine, he is older and can understand that we will be back. Our little Joshy is very clingy though. He wants his MOMMA!! Oh well...I am going to try not to think about it too much...I have to enjoy the time alone with my husband! So....tomorrow we are not doing much either....but Friday the MOMS club is having their yearly egg hunt. Christian is really looking foward to it! I will post pics of it on Friday.
One of my friends, Becca (and Blogger buddies) inspired me to post this. Becca took a pic of her little girl, Kyla this week in the yard with bunny ears on. That totally reminded me of the pic I took of Christian when he was about that size (7-8 months) right before easter. I for some reason could not find just those single pics, so I posted my computer background, which is compiled of some of Christian's 1st year pics. SO....can you find a couple of pics of Christian in his bunny outfit? (this was Easter 2003)
