12.5 weeks till Buble!

We are headed back to Kansas City to see Michael Buble...and we are both excited. He put on an awesome show last year, and we always said if he came back to KC we would follow. He's back in June, and there we will be.
We bought the tickets and even paid for the hotel :)
We are ready (and this will be the weekend after I graduate...so HAPPY GRADUATION TO ME :)

12 more weeks.....

This TUESDAY markes 12 more weeks till GRADUATION day.
Ugg..I thought the day would never come.
I (we as a class) are totally excited!!
All the time we've put into it, all the time away from our family and friends, all the HARD work, and for some of us...all the tears we've shed during this LONG year and a half......finally all becomes worth it. Thank you Lord!

Sooooo many cute things

I have found SOOO many cute things for little Grace.
However, I have managed to keep myself from buying any of it. (talk about willpower)
I did find these little shoes in a boutique in Fayetteville (that were way over priced) and ofcourse came home and googled them to see if I could get them cheaper (and ofcourse I can)
This is one of those things Grace must have....(not going to buy them just yet though :)

Our trip to Hobbs State Park and War Eagle Caverns!

Today we had a blast going on a road trip with Papow.
We visited Hobbs State Park and then War Eagle Caverns.
Hobbs State Park was great and the boys got to learn and see so much! I didn't even know this place was around...and it's only like 30 min from my house! We had a great little picnic at the park and the weather was perfect!
After lunch we traveled to War Eagel Caverns which was only about 5 minutes from the park. I didn't really know what to expect because none of us had ever been there, but it was a blast! We explored a cave (guided tour) and saw lots of nature! The boys loved being in the caves with all the BATS!
We will definelty go back to both of these places...we had such a great time and really enjoyed the quality time with Papow!

18 weeks

I am 18 weeks preggo now...and feeling pretty good. Still a little nausea, but overall feeling better.
I am still tired, but honestly with my crazy schedule I think I would be tired even if I wasn't pregnant.
Today starts SPRING break, and it is a MUCH needed break. Between going to school full time, working full time and being a Mom, wife and then pregnancy...I need a break :)

I am so excited to finally get some quality time with my boys, I have been missing their little faces....we have big plans for the week :)
Friday the whole fam (mom, mimow and maybe aunt sharon) are all headed to Branson for a little shopping. Maybe we will find little Miss some great things :) I will post pics soon :)

We are already so in love with her....the same way we are in love with our amazing family for whom she is named after :)

IT'S A GIRL!

I was able to con the ultrasound department at work into doing an ultrasound. They did, and it was very obvious in several directions that this little monkey is a GIRL!

We are so thrilled....I can't believe it!

15 weeks and another appointment!

This week I am 15 weeks! Belly is sure getting bigger. I will have to take pics soon.
The boys LOVE looking at it, but I haven't decieded if they like looking at it because it's fun to make fun of it, or if they really just find the whole thing cool.
We had another dct appt today and the whole fam came. We got to hear the heartbeat "which the doctor said was fast" and then we even got to look at the baby some more with another ultrasound!
The boys thought the jelly they use on your belly for the u/s machine was sooo weird. I really tried to keep the boys involved during the u/s so that they would both remember this special time. Joshua found it fun to poke my belly during the u/s - he thought it was extra funny that the baby jumped around on the screen when he did that :) Chritian made the whole family laugh - + the doctor and US tech by saying " That thing looks like a cockroach". - Seriously, where did he come up with that?
Unfortunaly, little baby Burt had legs crossed, and didn't plan on moving AT ALL, so we were unable to find out the sex today. I have another u/s scheduled for the first part of April. Hopefully this little Muchkin will spread legs for us next time :)
(And scale wise - I am 15 weeks 4 days and have gained only 2 lbs - I guess I am okay with that number :)

Recently Zofran has been my best friend. Nausea has played a MAJOR role in this pregnancy - and I am ready for it to make its exit.
What happened to Renae Burt having perfect pregnancies? This little Munchkin is already a trouble maker :)

Joshua's 5th Birthday Party Pics

We had Joshua's bday party at Fun City this year. Alot of his classmates came and fun was had by all.
Mimow (my Mom) had the cake made and everyone loved it :)

Joshua Paul Burt - 5 years old!

Wow...my baby is 5. Can't hardly believe it.
Seems like not too long ago he was our little Munchkin in preemie clothes. Now he is our big boy.....
Joshua has looked forward to turning 5 for a LONG while now, he was thrilled to wake up today and finally be here :)
Today we are having his b-day at Fun City Pizza after school. He has invited all his classmates + a few extra special friend.
I will post pictures ASAP.
