A Mad Review

I just had to let you all know about this restaurant in Rogers.
MAD PIZZA.
This is our new favorite pizza place....it is really SOO good.
So everyone go try it!

Somthing Fun...

Scanning through the paper the other day, I noticed an ad for a place called "Just a Kids Kitchen."
I called to get more info and it sounded sooo cool.
This place is kinda like a "Super Suppers" but for KIDS. They say it is from ages 3-103.
They do all the prep,cooking...everything!
And they have the coolest shop where you can buy kid size kitchen gadgets (that are REAL, not toys)
I actually dropped by to check it out, went in, talked with the ladies and it sounds great.
So tomorrow Christian and I are going to a class! HE IS SOO EXCITED!
It is a super bowl themed class, so they are going to make super bowl party type foods.
The cost was only $20!! And he gets to bring all the food home!

Ho-Hum

Today is soooo stinkin cold. It is like 13 degrees outside right now.
I am already looking forward to spring :)
I have to work tonight....so I am trying to cram all my cleaning,ect into just my morning....good luck...haha.

If you know me...you should know I am constantly working on some random "project".
For the last couple of weeks I have been working on "Renaeing" (don't you like that word?) a entertainment center that my grandmother gave me. (she busted out and got a hunka hunka Plasma with a new plasma stand and everything....)
The entertainment center is originally the factor "wood" color that is pretty much a standard.
Well that just won't fly for me...so I made a trip to Lowe's and talked to the good old guys there.
So now my big project in the works is sanding/priming and painting this bad boy. I've even aquired some mad skills from HGTV...I got the drill out and took all the hardware off and then made another trip to Lowe's. I'm updating this center will a new color (black) and new hardware (a modern brushed chrome) all for under $50.00.
I made before pictures...I will take more pictures when all completed so I can show you guys :)

I watch WAYYY to much HGTV!

We have lived in our house now for 4 months and I am just now starting to hang things on the wall :) Our bedroom is just a blank canvas...no curtains, no nothing.
So, on a recent trip to Hobby Lobby and Kirklands (my 2 most favorite stores) I founds some amazing deals. I bought these iron "screens" for only $5.00 each!! They were originally $40.00 each! (now I just needs some new pillow covers and acces for the bed...and definitely need to find some curtains ..which by the way is SUPER hard for me...and of course more things for our massive bedroom....just a few more trips to HL and Kirklands should do the trick!! Ha!

Next I found these little metal pics that went perfectly with our masks that we got on vacation from Jamaica and the Turk Islands. So here is the new entry way....from blank to this.... :)

Scrapbooking can make for great art!

My friend Becca took this amazing shots of us last year and I just love them.

I scrapped this and framed it in the boys' hallway. Isn't it just great!!

I even scrapped some pics of the boys taking thier first bath together and used them for their bathroom! What a perfect deco for them :)

Which hat today?

For the last week I have been the MOM of many hats.

You know how they say - Mom's wear many hats - the mom, the nurse, the chef, the prayer warrior, the lover, the fighter.....ect,ect, haha.

I am changing my hats to fast this week.

Somehow my JOB at the hospital is turning into a full time job.....

I actually worked 40 hrs this week!

It's been YEARS since I worked 40 hrs outside of the home in one week.

WE HAVE BEEN swamped at the ER.....Man, there are tooo many crazies in this world.

Oh the stories I have.....

Today I am actually off....time to take a breather (yeah right) SO YEAH! I get to put my mommy hat back on! Atleast until tonight.....

Ryan has the annual Springdale Chamber of Commerce Banquet tonight, which I've accompanied him to for the last 3 years now. I can sum up this banquet with 6 letters.

The first letter is B - - - - and the last letter is G. Get my drift? I am trying not to whine outloud..... :)

I guess it is fun to get all dressed up and go out with my husband....just not to this :) What a WASTE of a babysitter :)

I have had zero time for pictures lately....so I will try to get some good ones this week.

I hate posting without pics.

We just got back from our exciting trip to KC last night.
Ryan is in OK City tonight and tomorrow....and Christian starts back to school tomorrow.
So needless to say...I am very busy.
