Have you ever had someone in your life that made such a big impact on you, and who you wanted to impact others? I have that in my Papoo. I can honestly say that God has blessed me with what is probably the best set of Grandparents in the world..hands down. I am so blessed that I have always been close to my Grandparents and that my children have gotten to spend alot of time with their Great-Grandparents. I can honestly say that I pray that my children will take after him, the way He thinks, the way he lives, the way he is so close to the Lord. I hope that my children are around him long enough to see how awesome of a person he is, not just a Great Papoo, but a great person.
Papoo, You are such a blessing to this family. I hope you know how much we love you, respect you, and admire you. We LOVE you Papoo!!
1/2 the school year is over...hard to believe! This year is going so smoothly and both of the boys are learning so much!
Christian is really learning so much in 3rd grade and is really enjoying his first year of GT. He has been on so many field trips between regular class and GT class. This year Christian enjoyed being a part of the First Tee too. Christian really enjoys golf and it was something fun for Ryan to get to help him with since he has such a huge interest in it too.
Joshua is learning sooo much in K-5. He is READING, and doing so well at it! I can see how excited and how proud he is while he reads....I can tell that he see's how many doors are unlocked for him now that he can peice words together and read! I am so excited for him, and so PROUD! These boys are growing way to fast, and I have enjoyed every single moment. What a blessing these boys are to my life.
Praying that the second half of this school year go as smoothly as the first!!
Our little Grace is 4 months old! I can't hardly believe how fast time is flying by! 4 months stats: 12 lbs. 8oz. 24 inches long.
Grace LOVES to stand with assistance, she locks her knees all the time prompted the person holding her to stand her up. She is doing some major drooling right now which leads me to believe that a little toothy is not too far behind the drool. She is back and forth on her sleeping during the night. Some nights she sleeps all night, and the sometimes she gets up 2 times for a bottle...we just can't figure her out. She always goes right back to sleep after her bottle...so Im not to upset that she gets up :)
She is really talking now too! Lots of babbling and cooing..it's so cute.
The boys are ofcourse, still in love with her. They fight over the chance to get to hold her (which they usually ask to put her down after about 1 min..haha) They really help me so much with getting things for her, or watching her for a second when I need to leave the room, or just playing with her when she is in the floor playing. SUCH good big brothers, I love watching them with her.
We bought her a high chair and a play pin for Christmas but didn't even bother wrapping them because we really needed them now, and we figured she wouldn't know the difference anyways. She LOVES her high chair, and it is such a convience for me to just sit her in it while Im in the kitchen cooking or whenever I need to just have her busy for a few minutes :) We did buy her a few toys that we wrapped and put under the tree...I know she will enjoy them in the months to come :)
I can't believe I pretty much have all the present bought for Christmas! I have always been such a slacker every year, and always waited till the last moment to go shopping. This year I am pretty well done. I have like 3 more gifts to buy and it's complete.
Our house is all decorated and we actually have 3 trees up this year!
One in the dining room, one in the kitchen and one in the living room :) Tonight we are putting all the finishing touches on the living room tree...so I will post pics soon.
The boys are SOOO ready for Christmas day. Joshua actually has a countdown going, and they both are begging to open a gift..hehe.
I am taking the kids to see Santa soon...I will def post pics!!
Thanksgiving 2010 was a good one! Joshua had a Thanksgiving program at school...and it was darling.
This year we traveled to Texas to visit with Ryan's side of the family for Thanksgiving. Lots of people, Lots of shopping, and lots of good fun. Here are a few pics.

Celebrated 31 years of life on November 14th. I've thought about being sad that I'm getting older...but instead, Im so grateful, so thankful, so in aww of life, my life, my gift from God. How blessed I am, how in love I am with my Saviour. So Thankful for another year....this life is amazing....I pray that I am blessed with many more. Birthday's are a celebration of the life God has given you....and I am celebrating just that. I have been blessed with another year to walk beside my husband in this beautiful marriage, I have been blessed with another year to watch my babies grow up, I have been blessed with another year to see all the amazing, beautiful things that God himself has surrounded me with. I celebrate this birthday. This year is a Gift...a Gift from God himself, and I am thankful.

November 14th I'll be 31.....can't I just be 30 again, or better yet,29? 30 was awesome. Graduated nursing school, had a baby girl and celebrated our 10 wedding anniversary....it was a good year! Hopefully 31 will be just as great :)
Halloween was a success! The boys had a great time and got lots of candy! Grace did well with all the craziness :)
We started off the night with a trip to Sonic. Every year Sonic gives the kids (and adults) a free hot dog and a free coke...so the kids think that is extra cool. Then we were off to Lowell FBC for their Trunk-or-Treat. We have gone every year and it is always lots of fun. Then we hit my Mom's neighborhood. On our way home we stopped by Dairy Queen because they were giving free dilly bars to kids in costume.
The boys had a great time going through their loot when we got back home...and I will have fun sorting through it while they are at school...haha.
Hehe....The Burts are ready for halloween. This year Christian is going to be pizza (haha) Joshua is going to be a pirate, and grace is going to be a pumpkin princess. Tonight is our first halloween event, the Juniour Carnival at the school. The kids are so excited. I won't be there (boo) I have to work, but I will make sure Ryan takes pictures :)

Ryan and I have been going to Olive Garden on our anniversay for 10 years now. We started the night we got married.....it's a sweet little tradition that I hope we keep up :)
Today is our 10 year wedding anniversary.
What a privledge it has been to be married to my best friend.
I am so blessed. I am excited to see what God will bring our way in the next 10 years :)
Can you believe it?? Grace turned 2 months on the 9th. Wow.
She is growing so fast.
Today she had her 2 mnth appt and got her first round of shots. It was soo sad. She cried...and so did I. (so much for being a strong nurse..haha)
Grace has really formed a sweet personality. She is smiling and cooing and loves to look around.
Today she weighed in at 9 lbs. 14.5 oz and 22 inches long!!
Brothers are still in love with her..they give her a million kisses everyday :) She is such a sweet sweet baby.
Joshua got glasses!! The school performed a vision screening and Joshua failed. So..we took him to the eye doctor and he failed again :) So...he got glasses, and has to wear them full time :)
We will see how this goes :)
TOnight we took the kids to a local carnvial that set up in Springdale. My dad and step-brother,Tim, also joined us. We had such a blast. My Dad bought the kids a ride bracelet that enabled them to ride everyride as many times as they wanted....lets' just say we got our monies worth..haha.
We strolled Grace around in the stroller and she really enjoyed seeing all the blinking lights and sounds. She has really started looking around and making sounds now.
At almost 8 weeks old Grace made her first football game :) Tonight was Shiloh homecoming. - We even had a Shiloh hairbow :)

This year at school the 3rd grade was in charge of the play for Grandparents day. The theme was the "60's". Christian got the part of a California raisen and did such a great job!!
I honestly was a little worried that he would freeze up once he got on stage becuase he has always been so scared of getting in front of others, but he didn't...he did sooo good!

Grace has started smiling and cooing just a little...so cute!
Every week she is growing and doing something new and we are having so much fun watching her.
The boys are still in love with her..they are always coming up to her and asking what she is doing and saying "hi baby girl"....they are in love :)
