Today the Mom's club went to Pizza Hut. The kids each got to make their own personal pan pizza. Christian really enjoyed it....and he did a good job too!

Last year, my mom (Mimi) started a tradition (one that she wishes she could do with all her grandchildren...but Jason's kids live too far away and Joshua is too small). Right after Thanksgiving, when everyone is getting their Christmas decorations out, Christian goes over to Mimi's for a cookie baking feast! He also helps them finish off their Christmas tree. Mom lets him bake gingerbread cookies and decorate them (any way he pleases). They also bake different kinds and shapes of cookies.
Christian LOVES doing this. He even has a little apron that I bought him...he loves to wear it. He calls it his cooker apron. :)
I took some pics of his cookies. They were pretty good....I ate a few myself when he got home.
This is the one night of the year that I seriously let him pig out on cookies.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed spending time with family and friends. I know we did. We have so much to be Thankful for this year.
I posted some pics below of use enjoying our day together. Dinner was great as always and dessert was wonderful. We all ate TOO much, but what the hay....Thanksgiving is only once a year.
Tomorrow Mom, Mimow and I are hitting the sales....hopefully we will find lots of goodies! We should have lots of fun....I know it is sorta crazy to get up and be shopping at 5:00 am...but oh well.
We are planning on getting our house ready for Christmas this weekend...I will post pics of that too.

Today the weather was soo wonderful. We decieded to open the windows...and the kids loved it!
Christian and Joshy would just stand at the window.....were they plotting their escape?? Who knows. :)
Joshy is getting bigger and bigger everyday. This week he has learned how to "pull up" on the couch. I know this is only the beggining of trouble! He had the most fun pulling things of the couches...so we made it a game. I put something on the back of the couch...and he pulled it off. :)
Joshua is still army crawling (scooting) around the house, I wonder when he will figure out it is faster to put your knees up under you?) Although.....I don't know if I am ready for him to get any faster...he already follows me around the house!

Christian and Joshy took another bath together again today....they had a blast!!! Splishing and Splashing at eachother...how fun. I am using this pic (and many other) to create their pics for their newly decorated bathroom. I will scan in the layouts when I get them completed.
For the last 3 days or so, Joshua has decieded not to eat...unless he can feed himself. Well...that really limits the food he can eat! I have been feeding him pancakes, waffles and chicken nuggets (all cut into small bits) Why did he have to do this?? This is like "the next stage"....
I'm not Ready!!
I remember when Christian decieded to do this...but it seems to me like he was a little older than 8 1/2 months! Oh....well...not much I can do about it! I guess when I go grocery shopping next I will have a whole new list for Joshua...instead of baby food....boo hoo....
