My little TV Changer....who needs a remote?

Joshua has discovered the buttons on front of the TV. He is constantly changing the channel or turning the volume up or down. I have tried everything to get him to stop. I've said no....(several million times), spanked his little bottom, and I've even tried to sit something in front of the TV to make it hard to get to.....but he found a way around that too!!

So...I've been everywhere under the stars trying to find a TV guard...I know I've seen them in stores before, but I guess they were not good sellers???!!! So I ordered one online at One Step Ahead (don't you guys LOVE that catalog!!) They honestly have EVERYTHING!!

Time goes by WAY to fast and kids grow up WAY to fast!

We bought Joshua a new "big boy" car seat. He was just getting wayyy to heavy and his feet were hanging over! So yesterday was his official first time to ride in his new car seat. He really did not take to it very well...but ofcourse....he will get used to it.

Whike I was taking a picture of Joshua in his new car seat, it reminded me of Christian sitting in his "big boy" car seat for the first time.....it seems like only yesterday. (and of course I posted them). The pics below are of Christian now in his carseat and Christian in the same car seat for the first time (he was only 9 months). Look how big he is in it now!!!!

A new do for me!

I have been looking like such a frumpy stay- at- home mom. I put my hair in a pony tail almost every day....I felt soo unattractive and it is soo important for me to still look HOT for my husband!! All you stay at home moms know how it can be sometimes!! Somedays hair and makeup are the last things on our mind! Somedays I am doing good just to get out of my P.J.'s!

So anyways..I went and got my hair cut today. I got a really cute cut, and it will be low maintance (which is what I need!)
I really love it so I posted some shots of it.

Tomorrow I am planning on taking the kids to the library....so I will post tomorrow.

My Orange little boy

Well..I know it has been a while since I last post....but you all know that I have been working.
Well...now that that is over, I will have time to post regularly again. I really am soo thankful that I can be a stay at home mom. I have now been in the working world after children (if only for 2 weeks) and I now know that working plus managing a house plus caring for children is more than I could ever take on. I LOVE being at home with my children and I am thankful that I can do just that. ----It will be fun to spend all that extra money though!!!!! I am still thinking of what to buy with it!!

Anyways....I posted a few pics of the boys. Joshua was a little sleepy the other night during dinner and ended up rubbing sweet potatoes all over his face.......how cute.
Ryan took the boys to Wal-Mart the other day and bought Christian a dinosaur coloring/sticker book....the picture posted is of him playing with it in the floor. Christian had a virus for two days (throwing up) so this helped to feel a little better.

Working girl

Well...as of today, I am officially a working girl.....but only for the next two weeks.
I have a friend that works for Revlon (make-up) and she needed some extra help for the next two weeks. She offered me 700 dollars....no taxes taken out.....so I grabbed at the chance.
Today was my first day, and I missed the kids soooooo much.

I am sooooooo thankful that I "really" don't have to work for a living. I thank GOD that I am able to stay at home with my kiddos. I will miss them over the next two weeks....but I know it will go by quickly.

I thought that I might "semi" enjoy being back out in the adult world...if only for two weeks. But, no....I would much rather be in my kiddos world....24-7!!

Snow!

Tuesday we got our second snow of the year. Although it really didn't add up to anything...it sure was pretty to watch! It really started to come down in big snowflakes!
Joshua caught a glimpse of the snow on the back porch and went over to the window to check out what all the white stuff was!! It was really darling to watch him.......

Sleepy Time Memories

Most of the time I let Joshua take a nap in our room during the day. It is easier for me because it is the quietest room in the house and he is thrilled to get to do it! Today as I was walking through our room to get some laundry and I caught a glimpse of him in our bed and it sooo reminded me of a picture I had take of Christian when he was small. I love pictures of them about the same age, doing the same thing....ahh...it just melts my heart. I posted them below.

Chuck-E-Cheese

Today the Mom's Club went to Chuck-E-Cheese. Christian was soo excited to go! (as always)
Ryan came with us. (he left work...one of the perks of being your own boss!!) Ryan would never miss a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese...I think he would really like his next b-day to be held there!
So we spent 2 1/2 hrs. eating and playing and I still had to MAKE the kids leave!
Tomorrow we have big plans.....NOTHING! It will be nice to stay at home and just relax (relax..what am I talking about?? I do have kids...hehe)

Roomates

After seeing how much stuff Christian and Joshua got for Christmas, we really couldn't figure out WHERE we where going to put all the stuff!! The boys have had their own rooms but we have decieded to move them in together and use the front bedroom (Joshua's old bedroom) as the "playroom". We talked with Christian before we did it, and he thought it would be fun...so we did it, and so far it is going GREAT! No more clutter in the living room! I love having a designated room for all the toys. Our house is 4 bedroom, so if we ever have any more kids, we can always move the baby or one of the boys into the 4th bedroom (which is now just being used as a office/craft room). Goodbye 2005 Hello 2006

2006 is here and we are excited about all the great things I know that we have in store for this year!
The New Years Eve Party was fun. I posted a picture of my friend (Amy) and I. It was really nice to dress up hang out with other adults without any children. (thanks Mom for keeping them!)

Ryan and I used the night for a "date night". We started off the night at the Olive Garden and it was soo wonderful (as always). Then we went over to the Jones' house for the party. We had a blast!
