Umm....help me...I'm stuck to....myself!!

Well...not the best experience with SUPER GLUE today!! I was trying to fix one of my shoes, but it just went wayyyy wrong. My hands are now covered in white super glue. How do you fix this? It just won't come off and there is nooo way I'm picking it off!!!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun

We have had so much fun this weekend. We have spent LOTS of time outside playing with our new pool, sandbox and slip and slide!
Below are some pics of the fun we had this weekend.

Sunday afternoon we bought the kids a slip and slide. Christian just adores it but Joshua really won't have anything to do with it except for the sprinkler part.

HELLO!

We are back and we had the time of our lives! I will post pics later....lots to do (laundry, ect.) We missed the kids soo much and we are glad to be back with them...all though....we did contimplate just getting them from Mom's and going straight back to Mexico....hehe.

Goodbye everyone!

We are leaving today, and EXCITED does not even come close to describing how we feel. Of course there is the little tug on our hearts....we will totally miss the kids, but this is a much needed vacation.

We are cruising with Carnival on the ship "CONQUEST". You can actually see pics and take virtual tours at www.carnival.com by clicking on "Fun Ships" at the top and then choosing "Conquest".
Our schedule is:

Sunday - leave Galveston at 4:00
Monday - Fun Day at Sea
Tuesday - Fun Day at Sea
Wednesday - Montego Bay, Jamaica
Thursday - Grand Caymans
Friday - Cozumel, Mexico
Saturday - Fun Day at Sea
Sunday - back in Galveston

We won't be back with our kiddos until Monday the 22nd. Please pray for them while we are gone.....and the sweet family who is soo graciously keeping them.

I won't post again until the 22nd of May....I am sure we will have TONS of great pics and great stories.

P is for Packing

PACKING - This is the word of the day.
I think I have my bag somewhat ready, but I haven't even started on Ryan.
Guys are pretty easy though...they don't have to coordinate every outfit with pair of shoes. I think I am probably bringing 10-12 pairs of shoes, mostly flip flops...but those still count, right?
Packing for 9 days is really hard! I don't think I have ever had to pack for myself for that many days. Our honeymoon was only 4 days.
I will post more later.

What Did I Do Today?

Today I left some dishes dirty,
The bed got made around 3:30.
The diapers soaked a little longer,
The odor grew a little stronger.
The crumbs I spilled the day before
Are staring at me from the floor.
The fingerprints there on the wall
Will likely be there still next fall.
The dirty streaks on those windowpanes
Will still be there next time it rains.
Shame on you, you sit and say,
Just what did you do today?

I held a toddler while he wept.
I played a game of hide and seek,
I squeezed a toy so it would squeak.
I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
Taught a child right from wrong.
What did I do this whole day through?
Not much that shows,
I guess that's true.
Unless you think that what I've done,
Might be important to someone
With deep brown eyes and soft brown hair,
If that is true...I've done my share.

Today we had soo much fun. Ryan and I took the boys to the Jones Center to swim. They had such a blast! This was Joshy's first time to swim and he did really well. This was our first time to swim at the Jones Center, we loved it. They have such a nice facility. (It is an indoor pool with a swirly slide and all kinds of kiddo areas) We will definetly go back soon.
I had a friend take some pics so I will post them when I get them from her.

Stress?? What's that?

Ok...so the big question is....why am I stressed?
The answer: I really don't know.

When I have too many things on my plate, or have something BIG (good or bad)coming up, I stress, it's crazy, I know.
Life is way to short and WAY to sweet to stress.

So this week this is the schedule:

Today (Tuesday)
Meet Ryan for lunch - lunch 11:30
Give blood - 2:00
MK Party- 6:00
Tan- 9:30

Wednesday
Dr. Appt. 10:00
Swim meet - 4:00
Drop Christian off for church - 5:00
Drop Joshy off at Mimows - 5:30
Small group - 6:000

Thursday
Dr. Appt. 11:30
Tan 9:30

Friday
Final errands - pay bills, ect. Last minute shopping.

Saturday
Drop kids off at Mom's and LEAVE for Tulsa (the airport we are leaving from)

Ok.....this list totally doesn't have PACKING ON IT!!!!
I have to pack for Ryan and I, make sure we have EVERYTHING!!

Then pack for the kids for 9 days!!! Woooo...just the diapers alone is ALOT!!

Crazy week.......I need a vacation....I am so glad that is what I am going crazy for!!! :) This time next week I will be on a boat in the middle of no where!! woo hooooooooooo!!!!

Today one of my good friends and her kids came over for lunch. The kids had the best time playing together. As you can see in the below pics, they had a BLAST with a little wagon that we have.
After lunch we took the kids for a little walk around the neighborhood. The weather was very nice today.
