Post again on Tuesday

We are leaving tomorrow (Thursday) to visit Ryan's family in Texas. Long car trip...fun fun. But, a really good friend of mine let me borrow their car DVD system...woo hoo! Maybe the kids won't be too bored.
I know Ryan is really excited about visiting his family (we haven't seen them since Christmas). I know the kids will have a blast also....so I will post next Tuesday and update you on the fun.

Papers from School

Last Thursday I got my first papers from school! Christian learned alot last week and I love the fact that his teacher updates the parents so well. We know what they have learned and what they are fixing to learn! (I loved to be informed!)
The papers below are a few that I received. Pay special attention to the inside of the card he made (the 3rd picture). He attempted to write what the teacher had wrote on the front of the card!! (On only his 3rd day of school) :)

First day of Soccer Practice

Christian started soccer this year and today was his very first practice. Ryan is the team coach, so it will be fun to watch them both :)

The progress of a pudding eater

After dinner I gave Joshy some chocolate pudding....one of his favorites.

Creative Coloring

Today the kids were a little bored while I was trying to get some laundry done, so I let them color. They both enjoy coloring, but I guess Joshy thought it would be more fun to throw everything into the floor and then try to swing from his highchair (I guess they put seat belts in highchairs for a reason??!!!)

First day of School

Today was Christian's first day of school. He was soo excited from the moment he woke up. (not nervous even the slightest bit)
Christian walked right into school just like he owned the joint. He grabbed a book and plomped right down....

I thought about him alllllllll day long. It really is weird not to KNOW exactly what he is doing at every second. Even Ryan asked if their was a sheet that had times, ect. (like a daily schedule that we could have)
Maybe we will get one???!!

Christian said he really enjoyed his day, and he already learned so many wonderful things. (in just 1 day!)
After school we went to a MOMS Club event, a Kirate demonstration. The kids had a blast and even got to try out some self defense techniques!

I posted some pics below of our day. I will update tomorrow on how his second day goes.
