Meeting with Wolfgang Puck

Yesterday was a fun and silly day. A couple of girl friends and me went to the opening of a new Sam's Club. Wolfgang Puck (a famous chef) was at the store signing copies of his book and doing a cooking demo.
The line was VERY VERY long for the signing so we got the bright idea to just stand in front of him and pretend that we were getting our pics made with him.....(even though he was far behind us :) haha - See first pic laughs :)

As we were all posing for our personal pics with Wolfgang.....one of his assistants walks up to us and says, "Hey...if you want your picture made with him, I would be more than glad to do so." (we had been caught...haha)
Anyways....they let us go ahead of the line to take a pic with the famous chef!
We must gave looked cute to him!
We all bought his new professional knife set and had Wolfgang sign the knife block.
On top of all of that, the Arkansas Democratt Gazzette caught us in the act and snapped a picture of me and Wolfgang.....It was in the paper today. (see last pic)

Saturday we loaded the kids up and went Tail-gating. We had some good friends in town (well....we do almost every home game) and we joined them for some food and football at the University. The kids had a blast.

Ryan will be home tonight. This week has been a total reminder of how much he is needed! It has been a pretty long week, with no breaks.....the kids were everywhere., constantly.
I think just knowing that there is no relief in sight makes the days longer.
I hoping to find a babysitter for tomorrow, so Ryan and I can spend a little time alone. But.....tonight, its all about him and the kiddos. I am going to try to make it special. A nice dinner, just time with the family.
I will post pics of Ryan's trip soon.....he took the camera.

Jealousy starts with the Letter J

I have found that when I am jealous, I get mad.
Ryan is in Chicago right now, having the time of his life. Why is it that they call it "business" when really it is just "FUN"??
Maybe when I shop, I should call it business.......now would that make sense?

Anways, S-P-O-I-L-E-D is what Ryan is right now.

He just got through having dinner at one of Chicago's finest restaurants - signature Room at the 95th.

It is in the John Hancock Building on the 95th floor, with a view to kill he says.
His meal alone (appt. dinner and dessert) was just under $100.

He is staying in the Congress Plaza Hotel, which is one of the oldest and most historic hotels in Chicago. Just across the street from Grant Park, and only blocks from Tiffany's....wow.....what a hard job he has.

Okay.....so is the Honeymoon still memorable for him??? (take away you know what, and oh yeah...this trip may be more fun)

Yuk. I had leftovers for dinner........I bet his $100 dinner sure tasted good. Oh....and my view for the night was not the beautiful skyline of Chicago, it was Joshua pooping in the bath tub.....wow, the leisurely life of a stay-at-home Mom.
When is my trip with no kids and no spouse??
Oh yeah..........it was to Wal-Mart a few days ago.

Inches BE GONE!!

I forgot to post that I started a new class. It is called FIT 4 Christ and it is at the church. It is every Mon, Wed, and Fri and it is really kicken my tooshie!!
It is 30 min cardio/weights and 15 min floor (abs, butt, ect.)
I am still trying to looooooose my baby tummy. It is really fun because alot of my friends from the MOMS Club are in it, so we can all make fun of eachother when we get sweatie and stinky :)
I have also started eating WAYY more healthier. Not really doing a "low" anything diet, just watching my portions, cutting out sweets and cokes, and just eating more fruits and veggies. I am GOING to make this work.....
I will update you when I see some changes :)

Christian's first Soccer Game!!

Today was Christian's first soccer game. Watching all the kids play in their cute little matching uniforms was a blast.
Christian scored 7 goals!!! (yep...he's going pro :)

Our team won by a landslide...but your not supposed to count points....but oh well!! We play to win, not just for fun~Ha!

Howdy from Texas

Hello Ya'll.....we are still in Texas. The kids have had fun and Ryan is gone playing golf right now...so he is having fun too.

Last night, Ryan and his Dad went to a friends house, so I put the kids in bed and went to eat/watch a movie. I saw Material Girls. It was very cute, but sooo the teen movie. Oh well...it made me feel young. :)

I think I am allergic to something down here, just can't figure out what?!! I have been sneezing since the moment we walked in Ryan's parents front door! So if I'm not sneezing, I am drugged with Benedryl and can't seem to make myself move! I think it may be their dog because when I left last night to go out, I stopped sneezing! (who knows.)

Oh...and my cell phone is in ROAM down here...isn't that crazy?? I have nationwide and it is SPRINT!! So who knows why it is in Roam.

Anyways...we are leaving tomorrow to go back home. I will post more when we get back home.
