We are back!!

We had a blast and took hundreds of pictures (literally)
As soon as I have time I will try to post them....right now I am swamped with laundry!!

I will try to post a more in-depth description of our trip later.....I am so busy playing catch up right now - just wanted to let you know that we made it back - the boys are great - and we will post more later.

Goodbye Friends and Family

The time is finally here......I felt like it would never come, and here we are.
We are all sooo excited, and I know it will be over in a blink.

The kids are staying with my parents. - PLEASE keep us in your prayers while we are gone - Also please keep the boys and my parents sanity in your prayers too.

We promise to come back with TONS of pictures and lots of great stories too.
We decided not to bring the CANON - if something were to happen to it - we would be in trouble. So the little Samsung will have to do --- :)

We are leaving in the morning (Fri) our flight leaves out at 9:45.
I will post again on June 25th.

Our new addition

Finally got the lens and flash I needed. - And Super impressed with both of them. We got the 75-300 lens and an awesome Speedlite 430EX Flash.

The staff at Bedfords said that the Canon flash far surpases the Nikon flash - and that this was probably the best flash out there right now.......

Lots of comparisons on the Nikon and the Canon - I love the Rebel...but think there are things on both that are great. - Pretty in love with the Canon right now.... :)

I'm excited!

Every year Springdale has FeatherFest....which is sponsered by Tyson...(get it?) - chicken?

Anways....they always have rides, so we took the kids last night...here are some pics.

Update

Well...Christian is doing okay...still having a few headaches, but doing better.
I took Joshy to the doctor yesterday and he has an ear infection and a sinus infection....so they are BOTH on antibiotics. (but...better this week than next)

Ryan and I both started a round of anitbiotics yesterday just incase.....we just can't get sick this close to leaving for vacation!!

We leave next Friday (only 1 week) !!!!

Isn't life funny?

Funny how a day can change in just a few hours.
It started off being a great day, no schedule, no pressure....just a leisurely day.

Then.....something changed.
I got Joshy down for a nap and then Christian started complaining of a headache. He went on and on for a while and then just started screaming about it...(literally)
Well after LOTS Tylenol and checking his temp (which ended up being around 101) I took him to the dct. He has strep throat. (fun times at the Burt house)

So....here is the cherry that tops it off....When Ryan gets home from work, he is running 101 temp and feeling sooo sick. I immediately demanded that he goes straight the doctor tomorrow morning, we just can't have our health falling apart right now!!

I am taking Josh to the dct in the morning too just to go ahead and get him started on a prescrip....as contagious as strep is, and as much as the boys drink after eachother, I am sure he will get it too!

I had strep in January and fortunately have LOTS of antibiotic left over...so I am prepared.

Keep us in your prayers...hopefully it will be over in a few days and we will all be back to our healthy selves by next week.

Like I told my friend Amelia today.....even if I have a temp of 104 next Friday...I am still boarding the plane!!

Finally....it's warm!!

It's crazy to have to wait until June for really nice weather!

The last few days it has been in the 80's....which is perfect for playing outside.

Yesterday me and the boys spent hours outside just soakin up the rays........

I love our neighbors...there are so many boys that live on our street. All the kids bring out their toys/bikes and they all share (even really cool stuff like the 4x4 toy that Christian rode)

Last week (on Memorial Day) me and 2 of my bestest buds got together for one last time before we all go on vacation.

Denise left this last Sunday to go to Nebraska for a few weeks and ofcourse as you know from my numerous posts, me and Amelia leave NEXT FRIDAY (yipee) to go on our vacation.

We will miss you Denise!! Can't wait to get back together and exchange stories as soon as we are all back.

Monday, June 4th

Today we are trying to stay home....I think Joshy's ears/tubes are making him crabby. He cried all night last night and this morning his has junk flowing out of one ear.....so I put some drops in it, hopefully this will take care of it.

He is not running a fever or anything - which is good.

Our website is up - still really a work in progress - but it is up and ready.

This week and next week are crazy busy - Christian has an dentist appt in the morning - and it is sorta nonstop for the next 2 weeks - but after that it is nothing but smooth sailing - literally. :)

I am thinking of going ahead and packing - I really do have about 15 pairs of shoes that I am bringing - is that insane or what!! ha.

Only 14 more days

We are excited! Today is June 1st! We are finally in the month of our vacation!
Only 14 more days till we board the plane........we just can't wait.


Tonight we are taking the kiddos to the Hot Air Balloon Fest in Bentonville.....it should be fun. I will post pics later!
