I sent out the first e-mail for my photography biz today!! I have already had one response! :)
I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Hello all, For those of you that do not know, I have ventured out on my own - I am now solo in my photography biz.
I am gearing up for this spring and I am very excited.
Since I am going solo - I needed to create a new name and image for my biz.
My new name is IN HIS IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHY.
I have always dreamed of owning my own small Christian business - and I thank God for giving me this chance - on my own - to do it.

I am now starting to make appts. for this spring.
The first dates for appt will be the last weekend in April. I am looking for a few volunteers to let me take some shots for Free.
I am looking for a few children, a few couples and 1 family.
I Only have 5 spots - so please let me know if your interested asap.
There is no hang up - I just need some new material for this years portfolio.
(Even if you helped me out last year) If you deceide that you would like some of the photos after I print them - you can obtain photo sheets for a very minimal charge to cover the price of printing.

***All of my photos are printed on Professional Kodak paper using one of America's Top Printing companies. You will be able to tell a difference - The print of a photo is almost just as important as the camera!! :) ***

I specialize in outdoor photography only. No studio shots. I have several wonderful spots in NWA to choose from for your shots. A typical photo shoot last 45 min-1hr. (depending on the child) and typically you have 5 - 10 perfect shots to choose from (per child)

All photos can be printed in color, B&W, sepia or the very popular - color spotting. (see website for examples) No extra charge for color choice.

Christian at his Valentine's Party at school on Thursday. The kids decorated their own sugar cookies...it was very messy :)

Happy Valentine's Day to ME...one day early :)

Man...my husband is the greatest. I got my Valentine's present today....a day early :)

He bought me MICHEAL BUBLE TICKETS!!!

And made reservations at the Hyatt Regency in Crown Center, which is very close to where the concert is being held (The Sprint Center in KC)

Not only that...but we have reservations to eat in the Skies Restaurant which is on top of the Hyatt. It is a revolving restaurant that has windows all around to see the views of the city!!

Did he outdo himself or what??

(This is kinda his gift too...he loves Michael Buble as well :)

I'M SO EXCITED!!

(now I have to get a babysitter and take 1 day off work......hehe)

The concert is Friday, March 7th in Kansas City.

I am not a techy at all....but I think everyone this day and time just wants to have a cool cell phone.

I have had the crappiest phone for 2 years now....it wouldn't hold a charge or anything.

So...I decieded to upgrade, and boy did I :)

I got the new Palm Treo by Palm Pilot. This is the most awesome phone. It has my e-mail loaded, and alarms me when I recieve new mail. I can surf the internet at pretty decent speeds and it even has TV! And this phone is only about a finger and 1/2 tall (it's a tiny thing :)

And ofcourse being a palm - it keeps me calendar straight for me, notifies me of upcoming events and scheduled activities. Even the weather is up-to-the-minute on this gadget!

Plus with me starting school next month - this will be a great tool :)

Going back to school....

(spell check not working - sorry if I have a typo......urgggg)

I've been thinking alot about what I want to do with all of my time when Joshy gets into school...plus the fact that TWO tuitions is going to break my piggy bank...haha.

I really have been invigorated with the medical field and I really want to be more involved with patient care - I love being in the ER...it is such a rush - but in my current position now I just talk with the patients - not actually work on them :) Now I am just the business side of the hospital - I wanna save someone...not make sure their properly insured! (haha)

Wayyy back in the day (my first year of college in 1997) my original major was nursing, did you know that? That eventually changed to buisness after I thought that that would get you more money :)

So, 11 years later I am going back to school.

I actually enrolled at NWACC back in December to start in Jan, but deceided going to school full time with a little one still at home, plus work, would be way to hard and stressful!

So, I dropped my classes.

I am planning on starting back up as soon as Joshy gets into school full time.

But...starting March 18th, I am going to go back to school part time (2 nights a week) for Phlebotomy. Phlebotomy is going to be a challenge (seeing how I've never stuck anyone before...but I've gotta learn sometime or the other :) After I get certified through the state and then pass my national test...the money will be REALLY good.

So I am excited. I got all registered yesterday - I hope it all goes smoothly :)
